Samsung planning Google Glass rip-off called Glass Gear?
Samsung is working on a Google Glass rip-off called Glass Gear, according to the latest rumours.

Samsung just copies everyone. After copying Apple's gold iPhone, the latest rumour is that the company is now working on a Google Glass rip-off called Glass Gear. The source for this is Eldar Murtazin, editor of Mobile-Review.com who is well-known for his Samsung leaks.
He tweeted out saying that Samsung is developing its own version of Google Glass and that it will be launched in April or May of 2014 and will be called Gear Glass.
Murtazin had previously predicted that the Samsung S4 would be launched in March 2013, but not all of his predictions have come true. He had previously tweeted out about how the iPad 2 would come with a USB port which certainly didn't happen.

According to CNET's Eric Mack, while it would makes sense for Samsung to take a shot at "getting in on the Glass game, given the sustained hype around Google's product that's been ongoing for almost a year and a half at this point." However he also points out whether Samsung will get away with blatantly stealing the Glass name.
Below is Murtazin's tweet.

As far as Google Glass is concerned, it is likely to hit the stores by 2014. Google has handed out a select few explorer editions to some users.
