Samsung Note 7 TouchWiz UI leaks in video; shows a spartan white interface

Samsung's Note 7 phablet launch is currently expected to take place in a month's time on 2 August. In the meantime, the guys at HDBlog seem to have got their hands on the ROM that will run on the Note 7. The new ROM shows a new interface that deviates from the TouchWiz UI's colourful past, giving the Note series a spartan business look.The same was demoed in a video (shown below) that shows off the new UI showing a couple of similarities to the current S7 series. The blog points out that the UI in general looks clean and distraction-free. Moreover there are new transitions and the customised notifications tray now lets you do even more compared to past and current versions. You simply cannot miss that blur effect that seems to have made it throughout the new UI. The colours have been carefully used and only where needed, leaving most of the icons in stock core apps in black laid over a white canvas.Samsung seems to want to deviate the look of its TouchWiz software onboard the upcoming Note 7, giving it a serious look compared to what we have on the more consumer-friendly Galaxy S7 series. While TouchWiz has seen plenty of changes ever since the launch of the Galaxy S6, the Note Series also showcased a similar look. This could either be Samsung's first step in the software deviation between its smartphone range or it could be a change that would be heading to all Samsung devices. The above video shows the new software running on a Galaxy Note 5 so there is no way to confirm the same for now.
