Weeks after beginning the rollout of Android 4.3 for the Galaxy S3, Samsung seems to have stopped. The cause for the halt is apparently being attributed to complaints of problems like increased battery drain, the smartphone randomly freezing and Wi-Fi not working, according to SamMobile. The problems even went as far as preventing some apps from straight out working.

Since the update has been pulled off of Samsung's servers as well as KIES, users won't be able to get it until the company releases a bug-fixed version of it. Those who already updated their S3s to 4.3 will have to wait till the company releases a fix for these issues.HD AMOLED should provide great viewing angles

No update for you!

"As we are currently investigating the reported issues with Galaxy S3 4.3 Jelly Bean update, the upgrading service has been temporarily suspended," Samsung Mobile UK told the source in a statement. "We are committed to providing customers with the best possible mobile experience, and will ensure to resume the upgrading service at the earliest possibility."

The Android 4.3 update is meant to introduce some nifty changes such as the new Samsung keyboard, updated GPU drivers, lockscreen with multiple widgets, improved ripple effect, new Screen modes, revamped settings UI, core UI elements and more. It also adds new Samsung apps such as calculator, contacts, gallery and music apps.

The apps are also capable of working in full screen mode, and the update brings along a revamped S-Voice. One of the biggest additions in the update, however, is the inclusion of Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (LE), which brings along compatibility with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Galaxy S3 users waiting to get their hands on the latest OS will have to hold on for a little longer, as there doesn't seem to be any word yet from Samsung about when the official roll out will start again.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
