Samsung's smallest flagship phone is now expected to be called Galaxy S10E

As the launch date for Samsung's next round of flagships draws near, the frequency of leaks increases. Earlier leaks had suggested that the phone would be called the S10 Lite, but now a new report indicates that it'll be called the Samsung Galaxy S10 E.Samsung normally schedules its announcements for around the same time as MWC (Mobile World Congress), which happens in February every year.Previously leaked benchmark results of the S10 Lite, now S10 E, are quite confusing, and maybe even a little disappointing.[caption id="attachment_4760401" align="alignnone" width="1024"]

Tech2.[/caption]The phone, codenamed as SM-G970U, showed up on GeekBench with 6 GB RAM and a motherboard labelled as 'msmnile', which is attributed to the upcoming flagship Snapdragon 855 SoC. The scores, however, were just 1,986 on single-core and 6,266 on the multi-core test, which is far lower than the lowest scores we've seen for the current flagship Snapdragon 845 chip. Something definitely doesn’t add up here, because the leaked benchmarking scores for the 855 have been around 4,000 on single core and 10,000 on multi-core.The S10 E is also suspected to come with a flat version of the Infinity O display rather than a curved display.
