You must have already updated your Samsung Galaxy S smartphone as the Korean company had officially announced the Gingerbread update a month back. Here’s something better and it comes in the disguise of Android 2.3.4 which is the latest build of Gingerbread.Latest build on it's way...

Latest build on its way...

Now Samsung has not officially released the smartphone firmware and this in particular is quite strange as the build date has been dated as June 3rd on Samfirmware. The build is called XXJVP and we really think that if it’s stable then it shouldn’t take too long for Samsung to announce it. However since it’s not, we’d rather advise an extra dose of caution if you’re going ahead and downloading this build, lest you brick your beloved Galaxy S.
