Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro and On7 Pro launched in India

Samsung announced two new budget smartphones which will be selling exclusively on Amazon India

Samsung announced two smartphones in India yesterday, the Galaxy On5 Pro and Galaxy On7 Pro. Successor to the On5 and On7, the new budget handsets will be sold exclusively on Amazon.inBoth the smartphones share a bunch of features including a 5MP front camera which comes with palm gesture selfie mode and 120 degree selfie mode. The handsets feature dual 4G SIM compatibility and also feature Samsung’s S bike mode which was launched with Galaxy J3 smartphone earlier this year. Other common features include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card of up to 128GB. The smartphones will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will feature Samsung’s Ultra Data Saving mode.The Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro is a 5-inch device with 720p HD TFT display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor, has an 8MP camera at the back with an LED flash and a 2600mAh batteryThe Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro is a larger 5.5-inch device with a 720p HD TFT display and runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and packs a 3000mAh battery.The Galaxy On5 Pro is priced Rs 9,190 while the larger Galaxy On7 Pro goes for Rs 11,190. Amazon India has announced some launch offers on both the smartphones which include a Holiday offer from Thomas Cook where you can save Rs 6000 and an Idea exclusive offer where prepaid users get 2GB data, 200 minutes and 200 SMS for Rs 343 per month or 3GB data, 300 minutes and 300 SMS for Rs 494 per month.
