Samsung Galaxy A9 launched in China; sports 6-inch display, 4000mAh battery

Samsung has introduced another iteration to the Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A9 in China. The device is now listed on the Chinese website and will be available in white, gold and pink color variants. No information has been provided regarding price and availability.In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A9 features a 6-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass along with a 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a  1.8GHz 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor paired with 3GB RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. It includes an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.The dual SIM (nano+nano) device comes equipped with a 13MP rear auto-focus camera with LED flash, OIS, ƒ/1.9 aperture along with an 8MP front facing camera. One can also access the camera app by double pressing the home button. In addition, the device also features a fingerprint scanner.The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with TouchWiz on top and will be compatible with Samsung Pay, the company’s mobile payments service. Connectivity features included are 4G, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS, ANT+ and Micro USB. A 4000mAh non-removable battery completes the package, which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0.
