No, we’re not talking about walking around in a Halloween costume (that’s a couple of months old already). A post on the Android Community forums has announced the release of a new game for Android phones - PacMap. There’s a slight catch though… you, yes you, have to be Pacman.

Pac your bags

All you need is a GPS-enabled Android handset, a working internet connection and some streets nearby and you can begin your own version of the arcade classic. The app will track your movements as you try to eat those dots and avoid those pesky ghosts.

This is epic and awesome. We can almost imagine this helping many peoples’ jogging routines as they immerse themselves in this timeless exercise. However, we hope they don’t get too immersed and get run over by a truck while trying to escape from a ghost. So yeah, please stay safe while you play this.

PacMap is now available on the Android Market.
