Research In Motion bought some of the assets of Documents To Go developer DataViz and hired most of its workers to focus on supporting the BlackBerry platform, RIM said on Tuesday. DataViz develops Microsoft Office-compatible software for mobile devices, including BlackBerry and rivals such as Apple's iPhone and phones running on Google's Android operating system.
