Razer teams up with Hasbro for unique Transformers 3 gaming gear

With the launch of the DVD and Blu-ray of Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, Razer has teamed up with Hasbro for some cool gaming gear with the theme of the movie. The gaming peripherals range from the custom DeathAdder gaming mice to a dual-sided gaming mat to custom laptop sleeves. The DeathAdder mice are available in four flavours, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron and Shockwave. The collector’s edition mouse is priced at US $59.99 (Rs.3,000). The Razer Vespula dual-sided gaming mousepad is priced at $34.99 (Rs.1,750) and the custom notebook sleeve is priced at (Rs.2,500). These three products are currently only available in the U.S and will be coming to the rest of the world later in Q4.

Underneath all the Autobot and Decepticon paintjob, it’s a standard DeathAdder mouse, which means we have a 3500dpi laser along with 1000Hz pooling rate. We also get five programmable buttons with on-the-fly sensitivity adjustments. The 7-ft braided cable should be long enough for almost any kind of setup. The Razer Vespula gaming mat has a dual surface where one side is designed for speed and the other gives you better control so you can choose the side according to your gaming style. Finally, the laptop sleeve can house up to a 15 inch laptops and features a hard, plastic shell for added protection. The inner lining is padded and there are straps to hold the notebook in place. It’s available in four colours along with the Autobot or Decepticon logo.
