Rage Anarchy Edition Announced

Bethesda offer in-game goodies as a pre-order bonus for id's upcoming Rage.

To encourage players to go ahead and pre-order Rage, Bethesda have announced something called the Anarchy Edition of id's anticipated first person shooter that’ll ship with a bunch of cool in-game stuff like “the one-handed double shotgun for the classic id Software fan and the Fists of Rage, spiked knuckle dusters that enhance your melee attack as well as a special buggy called the Rat Rod, which replaces the standard set of wheels.”

In other Rage related news, two multiplayer gameplay modes have come to light after an id event in Utah. First up is Rage Combat Rally, a vehicular combat mode for 6-8 players, followed by Legends of the Wasteland, a co-operative mode where players tackle missions from the single player world, online or split-screen. Both modes can be played with or against other players.

Rage releases for the Xbox360, PS3 and PC, this September.
