Queues form outside Reliance Jio stores as final date for Prime membership approaches

As the last day to register for Jio Prime membership approaches, all Reliance Digital and Jio stores were packed with customers. This is a repeat of what happened when Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and MD of Reliance Industries Limited officially announced Jio Welcome Offer in September last year.Queues were seen at Jio Centres across metros including Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chennai, as well as other cities and towns such as Jamshedpur in Jharkhand, Purulia in West Bengal, Kota in Rajasthan, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Amritsar in Punjab, Lucknow and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, Madurai in Tamil Nadu, Kochi in Kerala, Guwahati and Nagon in Assam etc.[caption id="attachment_369658" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Baroda, Gujarat (Image: Reliance Jio)[/caption]Reliance announced the Prime membership in February which is an exclusive subscription based tariff plan where companies provide priority support to its members. All the current Reliance Jio members and the people who will enroll between 1 and 31 March 2017 will be eligible to get the benefits of Jio Prime Membership.[caption id="attachment_369654" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Purulia, West Bengal (Image: Reliance Jio)[/caption]Reliance Jio Prime members can continue to enjoy the unlimited benefits that they currently enjoy under the Reliance Jio ‘Happy New Year Offer’ for another full year until 31 March 2018.
