Polaroid launches LED TV and monitor range in India

Polaroid has entered the LED TV and monitors market in India as it announced a bunch of products today.According to the company, it is working with Indian manufacturing company Powerful Technologies Pvt Ltd, an authorized Polaroid licensee, to assemble and manufacture LED TVs and monitors in plant in Noida factory. The company has initially announced six products for which includes three LED TVs and three monitors. All of the products are said to available on Amazon India.The company added that all the range will be available on other online channels as well, including distribution and retail channels.The price range of the products LED TVs is between Rs 7,999 and Rs 13,999, on the other hand the LED monitors are priced at Rs 3,499 and Rs 4,599.Polaroid President and CEO Scott W Hardy said, "India is one of the fastest growing markets worldwide, and we are confident that local partnerships are the right way to tap into this growing market and further introduce the Polaroid brand to India."Polaroid had recently announced new 4K TVs with Google Chromecast built-in. They range comes with HDMI 2.0 support, 120 Hz refresh rate, and support for the HVEC codec built in. The Chromecast based TV sets come in 43, 49, 55, and 65-inch sizes. However there is no info whether these models will be launched in India or not.
