"PalmPad" Trademark Hints At Tablet from HP

The United States Patent and Trademark Office granted Hewlett-Packard a trademark for the term "PalmPad" late last week.

The Trademark Office in the United States granted HP a trademark for "PalmPad" indicating that HP is preparing for a WebOS slate. HP hasn't specified what it's going to use the trademark for but on the application, it has specified, "Computers, computer hardware, computer software, computer peripherals, portable computers, handheld and mobile computers, PDAs, electronic notepads, mobile digital electronic devices."
