OnePlus releases Android Nougat based Hydrogen OS 3.0 for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users

OnePlus has released Hydrogen OS 3.0 for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users in China. The latest version of Hydrogen OS is Android Nougat based like Oxygen OS 4.0 that the company launched on 31 December 2016. Hydrogen OS is a slightly tweaked version for Chinese users that includes a little more functionality without app drawer.[caption id="attachment_363051" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Image Credit: GSMArena[/caption]One thing to note is that the company has been working on unifying both Hydrogen OS and Oxygen OS into one single OS in the Open Beta program but there are no updates on when that feature can make to the stable version of Oxygen OS or for that matter Hydrogen OS. One thing to note is that International variant of OnePlus 3 or OnePlus 3T can also install Hydrogen OS by flashing the full 1.2GB ROM file on top of their existing stock Oxygen OS.Another thing to note before you decide to install Hydrogen OS on your OnePlus device is that the ROM does not come with Google Play Services so you either need to install Google Play Services by flashing or install a Google Play Store apk to get access to Google Play Store.
