OnePlus 5 Soft Gold variant is official; available in 'select quantities'

OnePlus has announced the Soft Gold variant for its latest flagship, the OnePlus 5. This means that this will be a limited edition release from the company. This variant will on on sale at 12 noon EDT which is about 9:30 PM local time in India..The company pointed out that it takes about 180 days for the company to ‘create and perfect’ a coating of the Soft Gold colour that it is using in this limited edition. The colour is not the only thing as to ensure an even and perfect light colour, the device manufacturer has to run the aluminium alloy through a diamond cutter to ensure that the surface of the device can be perfectly sandblasted and polished with accuracy.The interesting thing no note here is that time is of paramount important in this extensive process as the anodized colour can take a different shade.
