OnePlus 5 pre-orders open in China; 1,52,000 registrations and counting
Scheduled for its global launch on 20 June, the OnePlus 5 smartphone is already listed in two flavours on JD.com.

As the launch of the OnePlus 5 draws near and more leaks revealing more details about the flagship smartphone, it now turns out that the e-commerce retailer JD.com has also opened its pre-order window for the OnePlus 5.Scheduled for its global launch on 20 June, the unannounced device is already listed in two flavours on JD.com. First reported by GizmoChina, the reservation window opened on 14 June at 10 AM CST and will run right up till the launch date in China which is set for 21 June.
So far there seem to be about 1,50,000 interested buyers, so let's hope that OnePlus and JD have enough handsets in stock on 22 June, which is the day the flagship would be available for purchase.[caption id="attachment_380943" align="aligncenter" width="640"]

There's one OnePlus 5 model with 8 GB RAM and another with 6 GB RAM. Internal storage capacity has not been revealed.The price is expected to be at 3,000 Yuan (roughly Rs 28,000) in China.The OnePlus 5 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and thanks to the many leaked and official images, a metal body with a dual camera set up on the back.The OnePlus 5 launch in India is set for 22 June, and the company will have pop up stores in 5 majors cities giving users a chance to experience and buy the handset.
