OCZ, one of the leading system memory manufacturers is going to start making graphic cards again. The last graphic card they made was Nvidia's flagship model then — the GeForce3 and that was five years ago.

Though no details as to what models they would be manufacturing are available as yet, it would most likely be Nvidia's recently launched flagship model, the 8800GTX. Their previous cards featured higher clocked memory, fancy coolers and ram sinks.

Alex Mei, VP of Marketing and Communications OCZ said that they were concerned about the memory chip quality on the cards and similar to their PC memory offerings they will screen the memory for better performance.

OCZ is expected to display the new graphic cards at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, NV.
