Round two of one of the most high-profile patent infringment lawsuits in recent times, seems to have begun. With both Apple and Samsung unwilling to relent, the rivalry has now reached France. South Korea-based, Samsung has alleged that rival Apple has infringed on three of its technology patents, and has subsequently filed a lawsuit against the iPad manufacturer in France. ![Aple vs Samsung]()
Action moves to France...
The infringement lawsuit against Apple in France has been reportedly filed at a Paris district court. The infringed patents in question, unlike earlier, do not pertain to the designs of the products belonging to either of the companies, but talk about technology patents. Although, the number of patents that have been infringed stand at a definitive three, details of the patents themselves haven't been brought to light. The complaint, which was filed in July is expected to have its first hearing in December, this year.
