Now get slow-motion videos on Windows Phone thanks to native Video Tuner app

Both Android and iOS have their version of a native video editor, albeit not as refined as third-party apps. But Microsoft's Windows Phone has lacked one since the beginning and the lack of apps on the Windows Phone Store means users have fewer options to choose from. Thankfully, the Redmond company has decided to change all that. Windows Phone users can now download Video Tuner, the native video-editing app developed by the Nokia part of Microsoft. While this is an app for all Winodws Phone 8.1 devices, that particular version has not been rolled out in any significant manner. It's said to be debuting exclusively for Lumia handsets running Windows Phone 8.1, which means at the moment only the Lumia 630 can make use of it. However, if you are running a developer build of WP8.1, you can also try out the app.  Unlike the very basic Movie Moments app, Video Tuner brings tools such as crop, mirror, rotate, trim and flip are supported, alongside options to add music and video filters. You can even tweak the colour contrast and other finer aspects of the video through the app. At the moment, MP4 videos are supported and you can import MP3 files for the sound. As expected, Microsoft is not letting users use MixRadio and Xbox Music tracks they might have downloaded or bought, since they carry DRM restrictions. And while there's no native slow-motion video recording on Windows Phone, you can now achieve a similar effect with the speed-change option. Edited videos can be stored on your OneDrive account or shared to social networks.
