Notion Ink Adam Pre-Order Shipments Delayed?

FCC and CE labeling is supposedly the cause of delay.

The first shipments of the Notion Ink Adam could be delayed, meaning those who pre-ordered the device might have to wait to get their hands on the tablet.

Adam might keep Eve waiting

The delay has been caused by Notion Ink waiting for the final FCC and CE certification numbers to be silkscreened onto the device. SlashGear was forwarded a Notion Ink email from a pre-order customer, which claims that “the Holiday season in December pushed the administrative work and it will be cleared within this week.”

If the shipments are going to go out pretty soon, that’s a quick turnaround time from the second week of December, which was when pre-orders for the Adam were thrown open. Regardless, the FCC and CE certifications do not apply to us Indians, so hopefully this delay doesn't affect us. We might even be the first ones to get our hands on the Android-based tablet which would be rather fitting, in our opinion.
