Nokia has just become more fashionable, thanks to its new association with Delhi based fashion designer, Ashish Soni. The designer will unveil his new exclusive collection, inspired by an upcoming luxury handset from Nokia at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week September 2.Devinder Kishore, Director Marketing Nokia India said, "Nokia is delighted to strengthen its bond with the Indian fashion fraternity, both, through its association with Ashish Soni and India's premiere fashion event WLIFW. Nokia aims to further reiterate its design leadership with the Indian fashion aficionado through innovative market making initiatives and our tie up with Ashish Soni is yet another example of this intent."Mr Kishore added that the parameters for choosing mobile phones are changing with more focus on looks, with more consumers wanting to make a style statement with their mobile phones. “Our partnership will give me an opportunity to create a collection that represents the fusion of fashion & technology.”Nokia, along with FDCI also announced that it will be an associate sponsor for Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in Mumbai.
