A week back, there was talk of the Nokia N9 launching at the Mobile World Congress. Thankfully, there is no change to that rumour (we definitely want to see the N9 ASAP). Now there are rumours that the processor powering the phone is going to be an Intel Atom.

True Intel-ect!

According to GSMArena, the phone will be powered by a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom processor. The only catch here is that it could be quite a task to force an x86 Atom inside a smartphone. Chances are that the phone will boast of an Intel Moorestown platform, which is a System on a Chip (SoC) with an Intel Atom heart.

Apart from this, the phone is still rumoured to have a 12 Megapixel camera and is said to run on MeeGo. It is also said that N9 will be supporting LTE connectivity. Well, that’s all for the Nokia N9 rumours. We sincerely hope that these specs turn out to be true and also that the phone emerges at the MWC next month.
