The last we heard of the Nokia N9 was that it had reached the FCC for approval and that means it’s almost on its way out from behind the curtain, in an official capacity of course. The latest about the MeeGo-powered device is in the form of a teaser video that has been making rounds, take a look –

The video looks impressive enough and although we’ve already seen images of the Nokia N9, the short clips that show off bits and pieces of the device are enough to leave you waiting impatiently for its launch. From what we can see in the video, the UI seems very Apple-like with round edged icons. It does look quite slim though with a thin bezel around the display which will do quite a bit for the overall appeal of the Nokia N9.Very iPhone-y

One source thinks that June could be the month we would officially see the Nokia N9 hit the shelves or at least be announced. Given the timing of this teaser, I'm inclined to believe it’s possible as well. The feature set is still a bit vague but some viewers have pointed out that the device could come sporting a 12MP camera with what looks like a dual LED flash. What does look quite impressive though is the QWERTY keypad. Let’s just hope it’s not as painful to pop open as the Nokia E7’s, as comfortable as that one was.Tiles-like UI looks neat

Could this be a big come-back for Nokia aside from their Windows Phone 7 tie up? Let's wait and see. It shouldn't be too long now.
