Nokia Lumia 1020 with 41MP camera now available for Rs 49,999

The Nokia Lumia 1020 which was put up for pre-order through several online retailers a few days back is now available through the company’s online store for Rs 49,999. Nokia will get the device delivered within seven working days.

As an introductory offer, Nokia bundles WH-530 stereo headphone worth Rs 2,999 free with every Lumia 1020 purchased from the online store. This promotional offer is also valid if you buy the device from brick-and-mortar stores. The device is available in three colour options - Black, White and Yellow.Camera Grip has an extra battery as well as a tripod mount

The company had announced the smartphone late last month in an event held in Delhi. The Lumia 1020 also has two official accessories —  a cCamera grip priced at Rs 7,500 and a wireless charging shell available for Rs 3,200. We managed to spend some time with the Lumia 1020 and you can see our first impressions of the phone here. A quick look at the specs sheet and the clear highlight of the smartphone is the monstrous 41 megapixel camera.

The massive shooter is supplemented with a special camera app called Pro Camera, and the device also boasts of Nokia’s second–generation optical image stabilisation (OIS) engine as well as Zeiss optics with a 6-lens design. Nokia also adds a manual shutter and xenon flash as well. It sports a 4.5-inch display and packs in the latest Windows Phone 8 Amber update. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
