Nokia adds 1200 new apps, launches second edition of Your Wish is My App campaign

Owing to the popularity of the first season of 'Nokia Lumia-Your Wish is My App' campaign, the phone maker has now added 1,200 more apps for users with the start of the second season of reality apps. The app reality TV show allows app enthusiasts across India to submit mobile application ideas that have the potential to be developed into successful apps for the Windows Phone Store. The show that received 38,000 app ideas last year is looking forward to a pool of 50,000 app ideas for Season 2. Along with the grand prize of Rs 10 lakhs, two runners up will be awarded Rs 5 lakhs and Rs 2 lakhs each and three lucky winners will stand a chance to win the new amazing Nokia Lumia 1520. The winners will be judged on the basis of parameters such as the originality of the idea, relevance, and the practicality of implementing it. The application ideas received will be judged by a panel that includes Vishal Gondal, Entrepreneur and angel investor; Sanjeev Bickhchandani, Founder and Executive VP, naukri.com, and Vikas Khanna, a New York based Michelin Starred Celebrity Chef. Announcing this season of Nokia Lumia-Your Wish is My App, P.
