Nokia Asha 503 now available online for Rs 6,688

As expected, the Asha 503 is now available in India via the NokiaShop. The online store is selling the device for Rs 6,688, a Rs 1000 discount on the price announced by the company last month. The device is available in white, black, yellow and red, and the site promises to deliver it within five days.The Asha 503 sports a 3-inch LCD display and supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) and dual standby along with Nokia's Easy Swap technology. It gets a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. Other specs of the Asha 503 include a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, dual-SIM and dual standby support, microSD card slot, and a 1200mAh battery.[caption id="attachment_208143" align="aligncenter" width="640"]Asha 503 now available on Nokia's online store Nokia promises to ship Asha 503 within 5 days[/caption]It is the most expensive among the trio of Asha handsets – including Asha 500 and Asha 502 - announced at the Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi. All three phones are based on Nokia’s Asha Platform 1.1 and will also feature the updated Fastlane app, one-swipe access to camera app and one-touch sharing feature on WhatsApp.The Asha 500 and Asha 502 are also available at the Nokia online store for Rs 4,339 and Rs 5,739 respectively.  The dual SIM (GSM + GSM) Nokia Asha 500 features a 2.8-inch QVGA display, and is the lowest end Asha phone in the market. It gets a 2-megapixel rear camera, 64MB of RAM, Nokia's Easy Swap technology for switching between SIMs freely, a dual standby mode for both SIMs and a microSD card slot to expand the internal memory. The Asha 502 comes with similar specs as the Asha 503, minus display protection and low-res camera.
