Nokia 7 Plus hands-on image appears days before its expected unveiling at the MWC 2018

The Nokia 7 Plus is expected to be HMD Global's first phone to sport an 18:9 display with rounded sides and fine bezels.

HMD Global is expected to announce a new Nokia smartphone at MWC 2018 and it could likely be the Nokia 7 Plus. With less than a week left for MWC to begin, a new hands-on image on the internet seems to have completely given away the front-panel design of the phone.[caption id="attachment_4357533" align="alignleft" width="380"]Image: Evan Blass Image: Evan Blass[/caption]The hands-on image appears days after well-known tipster Evan Blass revealed full size renders of the Nokia 7 Plus. The image which leaked on a Facebook group does look a lot like the press renders revealed earlier. The Nokia 7 Plus will be HMD Global's first phone to sport an 18:9 display with rounded sides and fine bezels. What we also notice in the image, is the front-facing camera which is expected to be a 16 MP sensor.Based on earlier reports, the Nokia 7 Plus may get a 6-inch display along with a dual-camera implementation of 12 MP + 13 MP sensors at the back. The phone is also reportedly going to have the Nokia OZO 360 degree spatial audio technology, which was last seen on the Nokia 8. The phone is also expected to come with Qualcomm QuickCharge and Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box.[caption id="attachment_4357539" align="alignnone" width="720"]Nokia 7 Plus hands-on. Other features are expected to be in keeping with the Nokia 7.Pricing details have not been mentioned yet, but it is expected to be priced around the $300 range.
