nivio, an Indian start-up, has announced beta registration for its completely functional Windows desktop from the cloud for users in the U.S. nivio brings in access to an app store, wherein users can rent applications like a complete Microsoft productivity suite and also take advantage of the 10GB upgradable, free storage. nivio can be accessed by iOS, Android, Mac, Windows and Linux users.On the clouds

The Gurgaon-based firm with more than 100 employees was founded in 2004 by Sachin Dev Duggal and Saurabh Pradeep Dhoot. The company is determined to transforming complex cloud computing technology into something for everyday use. It is now all set to expand globally. nivio gives users instant access to their applications, data and desktop in the cloud, from any device. nivio eliminates concerns about software upgrades, viruses and storage and can be accessed via a range of downloadable client applications or directly from the browser using HTML 5 including the Google Chromebook.

It ensures all devices have an offline copy of documents, which enable sharing files, pictures and other documents with others. It comes with the nDesktop that touts to offer access to a full Windows desktop from all your devices in less than 30 seconds. The nApps store, nivio's on-demand App-Store isa  hub of popular software, including Microsoft Office.

As a promotional offer, nivio is launching the nDesktop at $5 per month with an additionally discounted price for students at $2. This is also inclusive of 10GB free storage and nDrive for effortlessly synchronizing data across all their devices. nivio also plans to introduce a suite of products in India by next month.
