Newmen announces gaming keyboard series in India

Newmen has announced its popular GL100, GL600 and GL1000 series of gaming keyboards in India. The series of keyboards have been designed to suit the needs of all kinds of gamers. The GL100 is an entry-level keyboard series, while the GL600 belongs to the mid-range. On the other hand, the GL1000 is a high-end backlighting gaming keyboard series. Both GL100 and GL600 series feature a well-designed, three section key layout, laser printing keycaps letter and key life of more than 10 million hits. Also, a 1.5m black nylon cable, 200mA working current, red backlight, Red and Blue indication LED and measure 463 x 1915 x 30mm.

The GL1000 gaming keyboard brings to user on board memory, 9 programmable G keys, long life with a night vision and blue/red backlighting. The Game/Desktop mode does not let accidents interrupt the game play and is can easily disable the Windows/Context menu keys. The GL1000 also includes a well-designed, three section key layout with 119 keys, laser printing keycaps letter, key life more than 20 million times, USB 1.1, 1.5 M black nylon cable, 200mA working current. It also ropes in gaming cluster with anti-ghosting capability, gaming Mode option for deactivation of windows keys, 12pcs fully programmable keys, quick access to the mostly-used multimedia functions, distinctive 'S' Keycaps rich in layers and gold-plated USB connector.

Recently we’ve seen Genius launch its SlimStar series in the Indian market. The SlimStar 100 is an ultra-slim keyboard with a silver-black, dual-tone and attaches an affordable price, along with a low profile key structure for low noise and tactile feedback. We also saw the KM 110X, a value desktop combo from Genius that combines a comfortable keyboard and an optical mouse as a value-added, entry-level kit. It has a low-profile keycap structure that provides good touch and a water-resistant functionality, to protect the keyboard from accidental drink spillages. There is no word on the pricing of the keyboards belonging to these series, yet.
