New LinkedIn Button Lets You Apply for Jobs
LinkedIn's launched a button that will make applying to jobs a little bit easier. With this "Apply With LinkedIn" button, users can apply to jobs by submitting their LinkedIn profile as their resume.

Click for a job
Jobs that you've applied to can be viewed under the "Saved Jobs" tab. Applicants can always double check to see which companies have their applications. For companies receiving applications via this LinkedIn button, it's very easy to integrate with a few lines of code and create a uniform system of receiving job applications. The idea behind this feature now is that resumes are outdated and static. A professional profile on a social network is a lot easier to gain information on applicants, as well as a dynamic way to apply for jobs.
Paddy does not, we repeat, definitely does NOT belong in the category of Mac-head (yeh right!). She does get excited by her iPhone and her iMac and her iPod Nano and her Macbook and Bali's iPad and her future iHouse (patent pending). Ok, so maybe her head is a little bit forbidden fruit shaped. She likes shooting video (iPhone 4 camera zindabad!) and editing montages (Final Cut Pro zindabad!), whether the scene calls for it or no. In her spare time, she's either kicking it on stage with KB the keyboard or kicking butt at Taekwondo.
