New HTC One A9 leaks hint at an iPhone rip-off

New colourful press renders of the HTC A9 or HTC Aero have emerged in acid gold, opal silver, deep garnet, carbon grey, rose gold and cast iron. "Especially from the back, with what's likely to be a metal shell and antenna lines running along the top and bottom. The only real differences is the position of the camera and the logo," points out Techradar.The front side shows a button that could possibly serve as a fingerprint scanner. Going by the rumours and leaks, there is no concrete specs sheet out yet and one can expect anything from a high-end deca-core Helio X20 processor to a more mid-range octa-core Snapdragon 617 and 4GB of RAM.While HTC hasn't really been doing well when it comes to the smartphone business, Apple's latest iPhone 6s models are now up for grabs across the globe.Analysts expect 12 million to 13 million phones to fly off the shelves in the first weekend, up from more than 10 million last year when the hugely successful iPhone 6’s launch was delayed in China, the world’s biggest smartphone market.
