MWC 2016: LG Stylus 2 to feature 5.7-inch display and 3000mAh battery

LG announced that they will be unveiling the LG Stylus 2 at MWC 2016 in Spain, this month. They’ve released the phone’s specs ahead of the unveiling and they are interesting, to say the least.The phone will boast of a 5.7-inch screen with a relatively measly 720p display. It will be powered by a “1.2GHz Quad-Core” chipset, backed by 1.5GB of RAM. Keeping the device up and running will be a 3000mAh battery (removable) and the phone will come with 16GB onboard memory and a microSD card slot.LG claims that the device will be 7.4mm thick and weigh in at only 145g. Included is support for LTE and HSPA+ and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (no 802.11 ac support, sadly). When it launches, it will be available in Titan, White and Brown colours.Specs aside, the phone is set to feature a whole slew of new software tweaks to take advantage of the included stylus. Features such as Pen Pop to toggle a menu when the stylus is removed and apps such as Pop Memo and Pop Scanner are included. An interesting feature called Pen Keeper will warn you if the phone is in motion when the stylus is not in its slot; it’s designed to keep your stylus safe.The 3000mAh battery coupled with the relatively low-res screen should mean that we can expect very good battery life from the device. There's no word on pricing yet, but LG claims that the device will be "exceptionally priced".
