MSME Ministry now on Facebook, Twitter

Aiming to reach out to the masses through social media, Union Minister Kalraj Mishra today launched the Twitter handle and the Facebook account of the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Ministry. The accounts can be accessed using the keyword "minmsme" in both Facebook and Twitter. "We have decided that all policy decisions and programmes of the MSME Ministry will be posted on Twitter and Facebook. We will also invite suggestions from the public," Mishra said at the launch here. The minister said the move to launch the Twitter handle and Facebook account is in line with the government's vision to reach out to the maximum number of people through social media. He said both the accounts will be made informative to benefit large number of job seekers. "Our government is committed towards reaching out to the masses through social media. The MSME Ministry is also working in that direction, Mishra said. PTI
