AMD launched the HD 7970 a week back and close on its heels, MSI announced their offering in India, and it ain’t cheap. The MSI R7970-2PMD3GD5 will set you back by Rs. 49,700. Most people build their entire gaming rigs for this price, but that’s what you’ll have to pay, if you want to live on the bleeding edge of technology. MSI HD 7970
The card will follow AMD’s reference specification and will feature a core clock speed of 925MHz and 3GB of GDDR5 memory running at 5.5GHz. The card will also support MSI’s Afterburner software for overclocking and overvolting the card.
