Motorstorm Apocalypse Dated

The Apocalypse touches down exclusively on the PS3 this March or April, depending on where you stay.

The Motorstorm series has been Sony’s pride and joy ever since it made its debut as one of the PS3’s launch titles way back in 2007. While there’s no doubt the game was utterly gorgeous, it was also one of the toughest racers on the block, penalizing players for the slightest of errors.

What happened to all the road?

After exploring both rocky and tropical landscapes, the Motorstrom Festival has now shifted to an urban city ravaged by natural disasters. The game’s USP this time round is the allure of racing amidst environments crumbling around you in real time. Normally I wouldn’t be too excited about a Motorstorm game but this one looks positively mental as is evident through some of the gameplay videos.

Motorstorm Apocalypse will release in Europe by the 16th of March while America will receive the game on the 12th of April 2011. And since India abides by European dates, there’s a strong chance we’ll get it in March as well.
