Motorola Moto G Google Play Edition (first generation) is now receiving the Android 5.1 Lollipop software OTA update and carries the build number LMY47M.The new update is 171MB in size and brings about some improvements such as bug fixes, improved dual-SIM implementation, HD Voice support, Device Protection feature, Quick settings tweaks, revamped screen pinning, along with changes to the volume and interruption sliders. Minor changes would include new animations in Clock app and a new status bar icon when there is no SIM inserted.Android 5.1 Lollipop also brings some improvements to the 64-bit ART compiler, enhancements to extract a longer battery life and improved memory management.If you haven't yet got the OTA update, then you can also try downloading the update or the OTA zip file from here.
