Motorola’s long awaited flagship phone, the Droid RAZR officially went on sale yesterday in the UK, and today in the US. While we still wait for it to arrive in India, modders will be happy to know that the Droid RAZR or RAZR XT910 has already been rooted. Members on Droidforums.net have posted a simple and straight-forward, one click solution for rooting the new Droid. If you happen to be one of the lucky ones who have it then you can try it by following this link.![Now that didn't take long, did it?]()

Now that didn't take long, did it?
All you need is a Windows based PC (32-bit or 64bit), DooMLord v2 application, USB drivers for the phone and you need to enable the USB Debugging mode on the handset. After that, simply connect the phone to you PC, hit the button and sit back. Your phone should then be rooted on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. You only need to do this once as it’s non-tethered so even after rebooting, it will still be rooted. The RAZR is up on online stores in India for Rs. 33,990, although you can’t pre-order it just yet.
