Last week we saw some renders of an upcoming Motorola smartphone which was allegedly rumoured to be the new Moto X. It went on to be rumoured as the Moto C and at the same time everything was debunked by HelloMotoHK saying it is neither of them.It seems that they were right as the same handset has now leaked in a couple of hands-on pictures and is being touted as the Moto G5 Plus. The Moto G4 Plus was launched last year and the newly leaked handset could be its successor. The leaked images come from a person who is trying to sell the alleged Moto G5 Plus prototype on an online marketplace in Romania. Apart from the pictures the listing also gives out the specifications of the device. The handset is claimed to go official in March, meaning that Moto could announce it at MWC in late February. It will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 13 MP main camera, a 5 MP selfie camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, a fingerprint scanner and a 3,080 mAh battery. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat and has the model number is XT1685. Surprisingly it still doesn't get USB Type-C, which is a bummer. If this is the real deal, then this one sounds like a minor update compared to the last year's model. Considering the 4-gigs of RAM, this could also be the top of the line variant.
