Moto G (second gen) price slashed by Rs 2000 on Flipkart's Big App Shopping Days sale

At the ongoing Flipkart Big App Shopping Days sale, the e-commerce site is offering big discounts and freebies for users who shop via the mobile app.Those looking to buy the Moto G second generation, will be able to grab the device at Rs 10,999. Flipkart has slashed the price of the new device by Rs 2,000 for the sale that runs until tomorrow.Motorola had announced the Moto G second generation late last year at Rs 12,999 (16GB) with a larger 5-inch display, an 8MP rear camera and 2MP one on the front, which is a jump from the previous Moto G’s 5MP rear shooter and 1.3MP front camera.The 5-inch display is protected by Gorilla Glass to shield it from scratches. Like the previous Moto G, the latest iteration has a water-resistant coat to prevent water droplets entering inside the LCD. However, it’s not fully water-proof, so it can’t be submerged in water like the Sony Xperia Z2. You can swap the back panel with colourful shells, although the battery is still non-removable.The Moto G second gen came equipped with Android KitKat, but Motorola soon released the latest 5.0 Lollipop update.
