MIUI 9.2 Global stable update starts rolling out for select Xiaomi devices
To upgrade to MIUI 9.2, users on older versions such as MIUI 5/6/7/8 just need to wait for the Over-The-Air (OTA) update.

Xiaomi has announced the roll-out of the stable version of its MIUI 9.2 Global ROM for select devices in its line-up.[caption id="attachment_4307065" align="alignleft" width="380"]
Image Credit: Xiaomi[/caption]The update is rolling out for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A/Redmi Y1 Lite, Redmi Note 5A Prime/Redmi Y1, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, Redmi 5, Redmi 5 Plus, Redmi 4 Prime, Mi 3, Mi 4 and Mi Note.According to an announcement on the MIUI blog, Xiaomi stated that it is working to release the update for other devices in its line-up gradually. To upgrade to MIUI 9.2, users on older versions such as MIUI 5/6/7/8 just need to wait for the Over-The-Air (OTA) update. The second way is to download the ROM and then flashing it on your smartphone with the help of Mi PC Suite.However, if you are using the MIUI China version, then you need to flash the ROM in recovery mode after wiping all the user data.

Developers at Xiaomi have worked to optimise a number of aspects of the system while adding new features such as Mi Mover, App lock, Distance sensor and ‘Apps’ support updates.
