Microsoft working on Flow, a new micro-email app for iOS

Microsoft is said to be working on a new email experiment called Flow. It is known as the micro-email app that allows quick chatting with anyone with an email address.According to Neowin, the app is still in early stages and offers some basic chat functions, for now. The app is built to run on iOS and is powered by the Exchange server."The goal is to reduce the friction and time spent with email but at the same time, not lose the convenience of the service and infrastructure used by billions of consumers," adds the report.Your chat conversations will eventually end up in your inbox, and one can conveniently search for them."The chats also appear in your Outlook inbox and, therefore, can be easily searched and archived just like regular e-mail. It's a one way street, however, and your non-Flow emails in your inbox won't show up in the Flow app," a Slashgear report adds.The app is reportedly being tested internally, and more features will be added if users find it adding to the productivity. There is no word on its availability for users outside Microsoft or other platforms.
