Over the weekend Microsoft updated its anti-spyware software, Windows Defender. This update brings several improvements to its user interface, and to the spyware signatures updating system. Apart from the other changes, the new beta version also includes a tweak meant to modify alerts according to the threat severity. Real-time protection has been improved for the most exposed key components of Windows along with support for 64-bit processors.Both the 32-bit and the 64-bit versions of Windows Defender Beta 2 are available for free download on Microsoft's site. However, before you download it, you will have to validate your Windows. Pirated copies of Windows will be left out in the cold.
