Microsoft Edge could soon be coming to the iPad; preview expected to be out as soon as next month

Microsoft's Edge internet explorer has been pushing out to a lot of devices lately, including Apple's iPhone and all Android devices back in December 2017. It is now eyeing to get on another Apple device — the iPad.[caption id="attachment_4328367" align="alignleft" width="380"]

Neowin[/caption]Sean Lyndersay, an Edge program manager tweeted, that the browser's iPad version should be previewed via Microsoft's TestFlight as soon as next month and a wider rollout should come out after that.The Edge browser was in beta version for iOS and Android from October 2017 and released the official versions after two months. Things were a bit different for the iPhone X as Microsoft did not take into account the aspect ratio of the device at first but then rolled out a fix in the next few weeks.

Although, if you have an iPad and wish to access the Edge browser you can still do it as the Apple App Store allows you to run iPhone apps on your iPad. However, the entire app will appear blown up and pixelated and auto-rotation will not work.The Microsoft Edge official iOS and Android version includes a new 'Roaming Passwords' feature, that lets users save a new passwords on their phone, but use the same on their PC's Edge browser, making for a seamless web browsing experience.There is also a new dark theme that comes to the mobile browser after first showing up on its PC counterpart.
