Microsoft apps will now be preloaded on Android devices

Microsoft has stated that its apps will soon be featured on Android devices from 76 companies in 2016. Last year, the company also made access to Microsoft apps and services on mobile devices with 31 global and local OEMs and original device manufacturer partners to pre-install Microsoft Office, OneDrive and Skype on Android tablets.According to Microsoft, these new partners will offer or, will soon offer Android devices pre-installed with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive and Skype. Most Microsoft services are available on Android devices such as LG G Pad 2, Samsung Galaxy S6, Sony Xperia Z4 and many others. The company says, "Our strategic agreements with these partners, in which IP alignment is an important feature, demonstrate how Microsoft is leveraging the scale of the hardware ecosystem, and working with partners in new ways to deliver rich experiences to our customers."Recently, HCL Technologies announced the launch of an Internet of Things (IoT) Incubation Center in Redmond, Washington, USA, designed to leverage Microsoft Azure IoT Suite to accelerate enterprise IoT adoption as well. The HCL incubation center will build vertical solutions focused on two key growth areas: Industrial & Manufacturing and Life Sciences & Healthcare, with use cases around Industrial Automation, Remote Patient Monitoring and Fleet Management, among others.
