Micromax working on A240 and Canvas Doodle 2 smartphone

Rumours have begun swirling that Micromax will soon launch a flagship smartphone dubbed as the A240. AndroidOS.inreported that thenew phone could be announced as early as this week.
Sources told the website that the new A240 phone will come with a 5.7-inch 720p HD display. Other specs include: 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor , Android 4.2 OS and 12MP rear camera with LED flash.

A240 will also pack 5MP front camera, dual-SIM support, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and 2,600 mAh battery, says AndroidOS.in.It could be priced around Rs 18,000 which is the same as the Canvas 4.
As far as the Canvas Doodle 2 is concerned, the picture was posted byMMX Newscasterwhich known for its accurate leaks on Micromax devices. According to the Twitter handle, Canvas Doodle 2 have a bigger screen than the Canvas 4.
