A new crop of smartphones from all the major manufacturers is expected over the nest couple of months and so the leaks have started trickling in. Yesterday we had leaked visuals of the UI of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and today we have a new set of visuals that depict the Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini, this time thanks to @MMXNewscaster, a Twitter handle that claims to be the exclusive source of all news regarding Micromax devices. Last week @MMXNewscaster had leaked an invite of a Micromax event scheduled for Jan 24. — @MMXNewscaster (@MMXNewscaster) January 15, 2014 The latest leaks show a white coloured variant of the Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini and we can see the front, back and profile shots of the phone. Just like the image, a leaked specs sheet of the phone claims that the latest Mircomax smartphone will have a 4.7-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 2 protection. It is also claimed that the phone will be powered by the Mediatek MT6582M 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor. In addition it will have 1 GB of RAM, and 4 GB of on-board memory. The phone is expected to have a standard 8 MP back and 5 MP front facing camera. According to the leak, the Canvas Turbo Mini will be fueled by a 1800 mAh Li-Po (Lithium Polymer) battery. If the specifications sound familiar it is because they are exactly the same specs found on the recently launched Xolo Q700S except for the screen size and resolution. The Xolo Q700s had a relatively small FWGA screen (480x854) at 4.5 inches. The Xolo smartphone costs Rs 9,999 and so if one were to assume that the specifications available is there and thereabouts then the Micromax Canvas A200 Canvas Turbo Mini should be priced between Rs 13,000-15,000.First Published:Jan 22, 2014, 13:20:07 IST
