Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will let players create missions

The more we hear about Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, the weirder (and more awesome) it gets. According to a recent report by the Official PlayStation Magazine UK, the game will work alongside smartphones and tablets to let players create their own missions. This is presumably thanks to the open-world design of Phantom Pain.

The open world lets players go crazy

Thanks to its open-world design, tablets and smartphones can play a more integral role in the upcoming stealth game. “Using tablets and smartphones you can also enjoy MGS V and create user-generated missions within the world," says Kojima.

Kojima has also revealed that the Kojima Productions' new LA studio will be working on a new online game mode for Metal Gear Solid 5. Previous games have had some online mode or the other, with Metal Gear Online being the most prominent and well-received of the bunch.
