MapmyIndia Now With House Numbers
The digital maps will contain numerical references to the locations of places, right down to the minutest of details.

Easier to find your way around..
All maps will now come with house numbers allotted on them. Rolling out this free service across 18 cities online, MapmyIndia aims to deliver ease of locating precise, detailed information about the location they’re looking out for. To begin with, MapmyIndia has identified each location, right down to the apartment names, residential house numbers, commercial building addresses and other points of interest. In order to add more precision to it, MapmyIndia has also included building footprints on the digital maps. The building footprints basically represent the built up area, complete with the previously mentioned house numbers facility. The maps come with spaces allotted for user interaction for their social needs. This simply goes on to say that users can add or share their favorite places in and around their city with their friends, by right clicking on the location and making a pick.
At present, MapmyIndia has picked the following locations across the country to allot digital maps to - New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Kalyan, Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, Mohali and Panchkula. These names are in addition to the already existing database of 1027 cities, complete with street-level detail.
