Majesco to get Steamy
Majesco to distribute certain titles via Steam.
Developer Majesco has joined the list of developers who plan on releasing some of their titles via Valve’s online service, Steam. Two of these games, BloodRayne and Advent Rising are already available, with BloodRayne 2 and Psychonauts releasing sometime in October.
Advent Rising and BloodRayne 2 will cost $19.99, while BloodRayne will sell for around $9.99. No clue on what Psychonauts will cost, but I really don’t get the point of this as all the above mentioned titles didn’t do phenomenally well for themselves; in fact Advent Rising and BloodRayne2 bombed pretty badly.
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
